Why we need a correct email address for you

Paperless statements help you cut the clutter from your life. They also make things a lot easier - you can read and print out statements going back 7 years as well as performing individual transaction searches.

The importance of your email address

To ensure you can continue to receive paperless statements, we require an up-to-date, valid email address from you. This enables us to send you email alerts, informing you that your statement (and any pre-advice of interest and charges) is ready to view online.

Customers using paperless statements who do not provide an up-to-date e-mail address will be switched back to paper-based statements in the near future; this is to ensure you get your statements.

To avoid this happening, please ensure we have a valid, up-to-date email address for you.

To provide or update your email address

  • Simply log in to online banking
  • Select 'Account Admin' in the left hand menu
  • Click on 'Change email address'
  • Enter your current email address here and confirm it in the second field

Staying safe online

  • We will never send you any emails that ask you to divulge your security details
  • Always check your statements regularly
  • If you change your email address or other contact details, please update them online with us, immediately
