Our Clients' Monies Service is a fast, efficient PC-based system that enables the management of third party funds held in sterling and other major currencies.

You create accounts for your clients' funds using an umbrella system that combines all the balances to maximise interest earnings.



CMS is a PC-based electronic-banking system that gives you instant access to accounts and flexible management options.

Through a dial-up modem CMS connects securely to our system, allowing you to manage accounts for your clients' money independently.

You're able to make multiple transactions and you can use foreign currencies.

CMS is designed to help you comply with your industry's regulations.

With CMS you can manage your third party funds in the way that best suits your business.

There's capacity for you to set up large numbers of accounts. Accounts can be set up in an individual client's name or pooled.

Even with pooled accounts the funds held on behalf of each client remain separate with individual audit records.

You're able to create client reference numbers that match your internal records and produce a comprehensive range of reports.

Time-saving automation

CMS automatically generates client statements and tax certificates.

Export data

You can export payment data in standard formats that allow you to import them directly into your business' systems.

You could earn more interest by pooling your clients' funds together.

Interest can be paid monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or annually and client listings can be given different interest rate structures.

You choose whether to pay all, some or none of the interest to your clients (subject to your professional regulations).

Interest is calculated automatically by CMS and payments can be gross or net of tax according to each client's tax position.

CMS follows Inland Revenue regulations for interest and commission payments.

Keeping your clients' money safe and secure is at the core of CMS.

Your CMS service is protected by a number of industry-standard technologies.

CMS runs from standalone or networked PCs that dial directly into our Clients' Monies Service Centre via a secure connection.

Logging on to CMS requires a combination of passwords and user IDs. Passwords are changed regularly for added security.

The administrator is able to set different access levels to users in your business, ensuring confidential information can be protected.

System requirements

Clients' Monies Service runs on IBM compatible standalone PCs or networks with:

  • minimum 100MHz processor with 32MB RAM
  • 100MB of free disk space
  • Windows® 98, NT, 2000, ME, XP or Vista
  • dial-up networking (except Novell for NT)
  • SVGA screen (resolution 800x600)
  • a telephone line capable of supporting a V34 compatible modem and fax
  • laser or inkjet printer
  • a CD-ROM drive

CMS will not operate where NT4 Service pack 6a is used in conjunction with Microsoft Office 2000® Service release 1a.

Internet Explorer® is not required. However, if loaded a minimum of version 4 is required for Clients' Monies Service to run.
